She was born Sep. 9, 1975 in Peoria to Richard and Joan (Hagan) Parkinson. She is preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her mother of Bartonville, one son, Michael Brown of Bartonville, one brother, Rusty (Jennifer) Parkinson of Farmington, and several nieces and nephews.
Dawn was a Lead Cleaner for Vonachen Services, Inc. in Peoria.
Dawn’s son, nieces and nephews were the light of her life. She was known as Aunt Dawnie by one and all.
Dawn loved children so much that she ran a daycare for years. She thought of them as her “own kids” and continued to keep in touch with them as they grew up. She has a love for professional wrestling and was madly in love with Seth Rollins. She also loved plastic canvas, other crafts, and fairy gardens. Dawnie loves her doggies with all her heart and had many through the years and spoiled them all. She was a plethora of useless movie and TV trivia and would quote the different shows with her brother Rusty.
She is a truly beautiful soul and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a celebration of Dawn’s life at a later date. Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to T.A.P.S. in Pekin or St Jude Midwest Affiliate.
