Delores "Dolly" Crew

Born March 19, 1935 in Duluth, MN to Charles E. and Alice G. (Lorette) Schlis; she married Leroy F. Crew on July 22, 1951 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on October 3, 2013 in Peoria.

Also preceding in death were her parents, and 3 brothers.

Surviving are her children, Joseph (Debra) Crew of Bellevue, IL, Jerry Crew of Florida, Nancy Crew-Lennon of Bellevue and Sandy Crew-Neltner of Bartonville, IL; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her trusted companion Oscar.

Dolly was a homemaker, member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Peoria and enjoyed sewing, collecting dolls, traveling, fishing, gardening, and will be fondly remembered as the center of family communication every time the phone rings.

The family will celebrate her life with a funeral service at 10:30 am Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel with the Rev. James Schneider officiating. Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 3rd from 5:00-7:00 pm at the funeral home.
