Donald Thomas Lowe

They shared a blended family, Michael Stallings (Tekoah) of Peoria, Clifford Stallings (Sam)of Bartonville. Donald (Don Jr )(Ashley Cooper) of Glasford, Chase Lowe of Pekin, Daniel Lewis (Tracy) of Peoria, and Emily Hertz of Mapleton.

Donald was preceded in death by his daughter Ashley Lewis, grandson Christian Pitts, his parents Andrew and Sue lowe ,nephew and niece Nicole lowe ,Andrew Lowe, and grandparents.

Donald is survived by his wife, Carol Lewis, his two brothers, Andrew Lowe (Jamie Jones) of Peoria, Jeff Lowe(Amy) of Fort Meyers, Florida, his two sisters, Tonya Stallings (Steve) of Washington, Julie Sharum (Bob) of East Peoria, several grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Donald enjoyed cooking and worked at Star Struck Grill in Bartonville and eventually became owner. After the closure of Star Struck, he took his culinary skills to Peacocks Pub in Bartonville, where he worked for several years, earning culinary rewards. Donald enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, working in his yard, and spending time with family. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan and Cubs fan and enjoyed watching each game, win, or lose! Donald was a jokester and enjoyed making people laugh.

A service will be held at Gethsemane Church on April 12th at (11 am) followed by a celebration of life at Hammers in Bartonville at (1 pm)
