He was born Feb. 10, 1938 in Peoria to Edward G. and Emma (Koppenhoefer) Finley. He married Carol Cochran on Oct. 14, 1967 in Peoria. She survives along with three daughters: Kim Clayton of Peoria Heights, Karrie (Aaron) Gullery of Springfield, GA, Kris “Jeana” Krus of Peoria, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one sister, Joyce Thorton of Glasford, and one brother, Paul (Carol) Finley of Bartonville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Duane was a United States Army Veteran. He was an Interplant Truck Driver for Caterpillar, Inc. for 31 years retiring in 1994.
He was a member of the Bartonville Community Bible Church and the UAW Local 974.
Funeral services will be Thursday Dec. 8, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in Hickory Point Cemetery in Metamora.
