

She was born July 23, 1932 in Springfield, IL to William and Esther (Olson) Johnson. She married Raymond L. Fauber on June 1, 1952 in Bartonville, IL. He survives.
Also surviving are their two children, Clifford (Debra) Fauber of Cincinnati, OH and Cristel (David) Elrod of Alpharetta, GA; three grandchildren, Jason Moorman of Brentwood, CA, James Moorman or Oregonia, OH, and Christopher Robey of Athens, GA; and five great-grandchildren, Brinley, Trevor, Grant, Cole and Caleb.
Eleanor was Vice-President of Johnson Hydraulic Manufacturing Company in Peoria. She was a founding member of the Femme Unir women's club, a member of the Peoria Women's Club, a board member of the State of Illinois American Cancer Society, Coordinator for the Reach for Recovery Program, on the advisory board of the Peoria Journal Star and was Secretary of the Illinois Horse and Pony Breeders Association.
Eleanor was strong in her faith and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Edwards. She loved animals and enjoyed showing horses and dogs. Eleanor won Grand Champion and National Grand Champion in 1987 for American Saddle Bred Horses, along with several awards for her Golden Retrievers. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, singing and bird watching, but her greatest love was spending time with her family.
A private service will be held. Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Midwest Affiliate or to Bethany Baptist Church in Edwards.
