Frank Peavy Jr.

He was born on April 20, 1952 in Pekin, IL to Frank and Wanda Stovall Peavy, Sr.

Frank was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He married Fran E. Vlahovich on May 6, 1989 in Glasford.

Frank is survived by his wife of twenty-one years, Fran, his parents: Frank and Wanda Peavy, Sr. of Peoria, his children: Sgt. Frank (Kirsti) Peavy IV of Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport, LA and Stephanie Dawn Peavy of Parrott, VA, his granddaughter: Holly Peavy, his step-grandson: Nicolas, his brothers: Gary L. (Lucy) Peavy and John J. (Wendy) Peavy, both of Peoria, his sister: Linda (Brian) Kerr of Chillicothe, IL and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Jesse Earl Stovall and Lena Stovall; paternal grandparents: Frank Peavy and Marion Peavy Beatty and a sister-in-law.

Frank was employed as a route salesman for Butternut Bread for several years. He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Glasford and St. Peter’s Men’s Singing Group. Frank enjoyed golfing and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Funeral services will be at 11:00A.M.Monday, July 12, 2010 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Jill Flynn officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00P.M.Sunday, July 11 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.

Burial will be in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery with military honors accorded by the U.S. Navy and Glasford American Legion Post 35.
