Harlan "Bud" Nevius Jr.

Bud was born August 28, 1928 in Calhoun County the son of Harlan and Mary Irene Oden Nevius Sr. He married Dorothy Jane Shive on April 24, 1952.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years: his children, Mary (Dave) Zimmerman of Morton, Linda (Larry) White of Katy, TX, and Debbie (Alan) Harmon of Mahomet, IL; nine grandchildren, Scott Kupferschmid of Denver, Kelli (Paul) Helmig of Tremont, Matthew and Christopher White both of Katy, TX, Nick and Max Harmon both of Mahomet, IL, Ben (Kara) Zimmerman of Bloomington, IL, Joshua (Lora) White of Seffner, FL, and Jason White of Richmond, TX; four great-grandchildren, Hayden and Elayna Helmig of Tremont, Sofia Zimmerman of Bloomington, IL and Olivia Baughan of Seffner FL; and one brother, Gene (Irene) Nevius of Pittsfield, IL.

Bud is preceded in death by his parents.

He was a forklift driver at Hiram Walker until his retirement. He was a member of Hiram Walker Retirees. Bud was always known as a family man.He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.

Cremation rites will be accorded.

Visitation will be from 10:30-12:00 Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Celebration of Life will follow.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.
