

Jerry D. Cramer,74, of Bartonville, Illinois, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Pekin Manor in Pekin, Illinois surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 18, 1942 in Peoria to Henry and Sarah (Maddox) Cramer. He first married Barbara Sherry in September of 1960. She preceded him in death on April 1, 1992 in Peoria. He later married Jo Spengler on April 8, 2000 in Peoria, she survives.
He also is survived by six children, Candy Bart, Linda (Andrew) Hattermann and Monica (Brian) Martinie all of Peoria, Rhonda (Todd) Schubert of East Peoria, John Cramer of Peoria and Jerry Cramer of Pekin. He has two sisters, Joyce Cramer of Mission, Texas and Evelyn Cramer of Peoria and two brothers, Donald (Joy) Cramer of East Peoria and Henry Cramer of Peoria. There are 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He has a precious niece that he considered as a daughter, Christine Gatschet of Blue Springs, Missouri. Jerry has three brothers-in-law, Fred Toomey of Warsaw, Missouri, John (Susan) Sherry of Belton, Texas and Dave (Loretta) Swanson of Bartonville and two sisters-in-law, Sue and Shirley Cramer. He has several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by three brothers, one infant twin brother, Clarence and Harry Cramer, his parents, one granddaughter, Tonya Chandler and a sister-in-law, Judy Toomey.
Jerry worked over 40 years as a Plant Warehouse Manager for the Pepsi Cola Bottling Company in Peoria retiring in 1999. After retiring he worked with his wife at Country Care. He was a handyman of all trades and it was a great past time in retirement. He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church of Bartonville.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 4PM until 7PM at the Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church on Friday, July 15, 2016. The Rev. Michael Jones will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
