She was born on July 2, 1926, in Cruger, MS, to William and Mary (Smith) Jackson. She was the widow of John H. Little, Sr.
Lillie was retired from Caterpillar with over 20 years of service. She was a dedicated member of New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess, and on the Mother’s Board.
Survivors include her children, John (Rachel) Little, Jr., Daisy Little-Adams, Warren (Ruthie) Little, and Melvin Little, Sr.; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, and husband, Lillie was preceded in death by two sons, Anthony P. Little, and Larry B. Little, Sr.; son-in-law, Larry Adams; grandson, Justin Michael Little; and her siblings, Matthew Jackson, Katie Baymon, Ellen Thomas, Annie B. Hampton, Mattie Ervin, Anna Smith, Vera Coleman, and Johnnie Jackson.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Swan Lake Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Memorials may be made to New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. The family wishes to thank Amy and Kerin with Transitions Hospice for their care in Lillie’s final days.
