He was born on December 12, 1942 in Peoria and raised by his grandparents, Clarence and Anna Buck. He married Brenda Neal on July 25, 1970 in Indiana. She survives.
Also surviving is their daughter, Michelle (Daniel) Patrick of Tampa, FL; three grandchildren, Joseph, Elizabeth and Stella Patrick and his beloved cats.
Buck served in the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, 559 Combat Engineers during the Vietnam War. After leaving the service Buck worked as a Welder for Caterpillar Inc. until 1992 and then was the owner and operator of Buck’s Lock and Keys in Bartonville. He was a member of the American Legion Post 979 in Bartonville where he could be found dancing on a regular basis. Buck enjoyed fishing, gardening, tending to his fruit trees, and spending time with his family, cats and friends.
Cremation will be accorded, and Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
