Michael L Burr

He was born December 3, 1955 in Peoria, to LeRoy and Sharon K. (Edds) Burr. He married Sandra Blair on December 1, 2000. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Christie (Robert) Mitchell of Glasford; two sons, Cody (Felicia) Sturgis of Forrest City, Michael (Janice) Sturgis of Pekin; two stepsons, Shane Denny of Peoria and Jeremy Moore of Peoria; two stepdaughters, Angelic Denny of Bartonville and Jennifer Moore of Peoria; two brothers, Richard (Dara Noll) Burr and Robert (Sherrill) Burr both of Bartonville; 17 grandchildren; 8 nephews, 3 nieces; 6 great-nephews and 1 great-niece.

Michael was formerly employed at Cub Foods. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and had a passion for music and being a D.J. He was also a member of the Hiram Walker’s Rod and Gun Club.

A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M., Monday, November 14, 2011 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the chapel. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
