He was born October 5, 1961 in Peoria, the son of Lawrence and Delores Magner Farris.
Big Mike is survived by one sister, Peggy Jacobs of Peoria; two nephews, Richard Lowande Jr, and Robert Burr Jr. both of Peoria; two nieces, Melanie Lowande and Justina Jacobs both of Peoria; five great-nieces and eight great-nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Big Mike was a tow truck driver for Mike’s Towing until his illness.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Pastor Jack Thompson will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the chapel.
Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
