Owen Duane Harmison

Owen was born July 26, 1925 in Peoria, IL the son of Forest Glenn & Mildred E. Reedey Harmison. He married Eleanore Treftz in Cambridge, IL on June 18, 1965. She preceded him in death on July 1, 2011 in Peoria.

Heis survived by three brothers, BobbyHarmison of Peoria, Glen Harmison of Peoria, and Jerry (Sharon) Harmisonof Varna; one sister, ShirleyClark also of Peoria; and many nieces and nephews.

Owen is also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.

He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Peoria. He was also a member of theIzaak Walton League and the American Legion Post 979. He was also a priod member of the International Union of Painters & Allied Trades Local 157.

A funeral service willbe at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday June 20, 2013 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be onehour prior to services.Rev. Louis Kniefwill officiate.

Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.

Memorials may be made to his church or the American Legion Post 979.
