Rebecca "Becky" Lynn Segler-Curry (Gass)

Rebecca Lynn "Becky" Segler-Curry (Gass), 49, of Hanna City, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at her home. She was born on December 5, 1975 in Peoria, a daughter of Clifford L. and Marcia Lynn (Duttarer) Segler. Becky married Daniel Curry on November 3, 2024 in Peoria. He survives.

Becky is also survived by her father, Clifford L. (Kay) Segler of Mapleton; her five step-children, Cody Stoffel of Johnson City, Cole Curry of Hanna City, Caleb Curry of Johnson City, AnnaBelle Curry of Johnson City, and Molly Curry of Johnson City; three step-brothers, Scott (Kim) Bender of Manito, Matt (Nikki) Bender of Bartonville, and Andrew Bender of Peoria; one step-sister, Jennifer (Dale) Clarkson of Metamora; her loving pet dog, Bennie; and her pet cat, Kiki.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marcia Segler; two brothers, Christopher and Michael Segler; and one sister, Stacy Segler.

Becky graduated from Limestone High School, Class of 1993. She was a graduate of Oehrlein School of Cosmetology, Class of 1994.

She worked as a hairdresser for many years.

Becky loved to travel, spending time with her husband and family, and riding with Dan on his motorcycle. She was always helping others and a true believer in Jesus Christ.

Becky's memorial service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, May 12, 2025 at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Rev. Charles Curry will officiate. Her memorial visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm also on Monday at the funeral chapel. A private inurnment will take place at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Bartonville.
