Ronald Joseph Thompson

Ron leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Angie Thompson, as well as their children Caleb(Brenna Fort), Alex(Jacob Herrera), grandchildren Otto Thompson, Remi Fort, and Lorelei Thompson, brother Bob Thompson(Marya Thompson), and his parents Ronnie and Karen Thompson. As well as a host of extended family and friends. He is also survived by his beloved dog Edie-his side chick.

Ron worked at PMP Fermentation products for over 30 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, who loved to go camping and loved to garden. He loved the outdoors and he was known to be able to fix anything. He met his wife Angie at Venture in Peoria, where they became fast friends and fell in love, and were married for 36 years. Ron was the best provider and father for his family, spoiling them rotten. He could make everyone laugh and was a gentle giant; always there if you needed something. He spent many years helping with the Bartonville Christian Church youth group.

Visitation will be held at Bartonville Christian Church on Saturday April 11, from 10AM to 12PM with service to follow. Meal to be provided at Bartonville Christian Church afterwards.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family for his grandchildren's college fund, or Hooked On Fishing in East Peoria.
