Shirley was born in Peoria, Illinois on May 11, 1930 a daughter of Luther & Stella (Beckwith) Clarke. She married Charles H. Duffield in Peoria on April 23, 1949. He preceded her in death on December 27, 1996 in Peoria.
She is survived by one daughter, Denise Gall of Bartonville; two grandsons, Justin Gall of Pekin and Kyle (Becky) Gall of Bartonville; two great-grandsons, Tyler and Mason;close friend of the family, Jeff Gall; and one niece, Kathleen Comnick of Inverness, FL.
Shirley was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and 2 step-brothers.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday May 31, 2012 at Davison-Fulton Bartonvile Chapel. Father David Heinz will preside. Visitation will be one hour prior to services also at the funeral home.
Entombment will be at Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria, IL.
