Shirley Ann Sutter

Shirley was born March 24, 1932, in Peoria, the daughter of Ray and Edna Sonnenschine Wolford. She married Gerald Sutter on Feb. 3, 1951. He preceded her in death on April 29, 1989.

She is survived by her children, Dr. Randall (Ann) Sutter of Peoria, Julie (Kevin) Nelson of Metamora, Eric Sutter of Peoria and Tim Prunty of Peoria; one brother, Larry Wolford of Weldon, Calif.; five grandchildren, Tao (Scott) Albritton of Peoria, Tai (Rob) Keyster of Peoria, Ryan Nelson of Peoria, Chelsea Nelson of Torreon, Mexico, and Jesse Fischer of Los Angeles, Calif.; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Shirley was also preceded in death by her parents.

She was a member of Second Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school and Bible study teacher.

Shirley was the manager of the South Side Mission Store until her retirement in 1984.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at Second Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, June 10, 2014, at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel and one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Pastor Jim Vincent will officiate. Burial will be in Smithville Cemetery.
