Virginia L. Olson

  She was born December 6, 1924 in Peoria to John and Bertha (Connor) Bailey.  She married Joseph Olson on May 29, 1950 in Lewistown, IL.  He survives.

  Also surviving is one daughter, Sallie (Carl) Fuller of Elmwood, IL, four grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Herrick of Washington, IL, Jessica Fuller of Los Angeles, CA, Shawn Olson of New Lennox, IL, Tiffany Olson of Peoria; one great-granddaughter, Bailey Herrick and great-grandsons, Christopher and Connor Olson.

  She was preceded in death by her son, Michael B. Olson, two sisters and five brothers.

  Virginia loved to dance.  She was a former dance instructor for Dentino’s Dance Studio in Peoria.  She was also a member of the Limestone American Legion Auxiliary Post #979, Bartonville VFW Post #3883, Peoria Elk’s Lodge and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, November 23, 2012 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the chapel.  Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
