William "Bill" F. Adamson

William F. “Bill” Adamson, 77, of Bartonville, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 26, 1938 in Huntley, Illinois to Carl and Ruth (Flemming) Adamson. He married Dorla Heller on May 8, 1960 in Table Grove, Illinois. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Michael G. (Tammy ) Adamson of Peoria and Matthew W. (Michele) Adamson of Kankakee, Illinois. He has three grandchildren, Benjamin, Joseph and Rachel Adamson and one brother, Bob (Mary) Adamson of Janesville, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by one sister, Eva Isenhart and his parents.

Bill was co-owner and the Avionics Shop Manager of Byerly Avionics where he worked for over 30 years, retiring in 2004. He was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church of Peoria. He loved working with his hands, and also in his yard. Bill enjoyed reading , old vintage automobiles and small aircraft. Bill was a United States Air Force Veteran.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7PM Friday and 30 minutes prior services on Saturday at the funeral chapel. Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10:30 AM at the Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel. The Rev. Craig Hislope will officiate. Burial will be in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Bartonville. Memorials may be made to the Grace Presbyterian Church F.T.F. (First Things First) Missionary Fund.
