

William was born on September 27, 1932 in Kingston Mines, the son of William & Ruth Bradley Scott . He married Hazel Uphoff in Glasford on August 5, 1950.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years; his children, Carolyn (Larry) Gass , John (Barb) Scott both of Peoria, William (Georgia) Scott of Georgia, Cheryl (Dennis) West of Glasford, and Stanley (Nancy) Scott of Mapleton; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Norma (Roger) Baker of Mapleton, and Wilma Mitchell of Glasford; one brother, James Scott of Hanna City.
William is proceeded by his parents; one daughter Luann Scott:; and one sister Betty Maas.
He worked for Keystone Steel & Wire Co. for forty-three years.
William was an avid Illin basketbali, and St. Louis Cardinal fan. He was one of the original members of the Westwood School board and coached Westwood little league for years. He will be most known as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by all that knew him.
A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday October 20, 2013 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be two hours prior to services.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
