Bonnie Lou Turner Schelling, 63, of 202 Bowles Road, Collinsville, died Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville. She was born in Henry County on March 27, 1948 to Robert M. Turner of Ridgeway and the late Hazel Joyce Powers. Bonnie was the owner and operator of Bonnie’s Hair Magic of Collinsville for more than thirty years.
In addition to her father she is survived by her step-mother, Lois Turner of Ridgeway, two daughters, Candace Roark and Tammy Wells both of Collinsville, two sons, Tim Hurd of Danville and Brian Hurd of Collinsville, two sisters, Linda Stegall of Martinsville and Audrey Sawyer of Arlington, TX., and one step-sister, Debbie Rakes of Ridgeway, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services and burial will be private. The family will receive friends 3-5p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the home at 202 Bowles Road, Collinsville.
