Brenda Sue Flythe

Brenda Weeks Flythe, age 76, passed away on November 23, 2023. She was born on December 28, 1946 to the late Druss Eddie Weeks and Opal Bishop. In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her sister, Judy Ann Weeks Scott and husband of 30 years, Sutton Flythe, Jr.

Brenda is survived by sisters; Joyce Shortt of Floyd, Shelby Hall of Floyd; brother, Tony Weeks of Bassett. She had several nieces and nephews, a special niece, Deborah Scott Foley and a special niece and nephew, Ann Taylor Brown and Nicholas Foley; three stepchildren, Margaret Philhower, Kathy Dupree and Sutton Flythe, III; six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and several great nieces and nephews.

Brenda was a loving and dedicated wife, aunt, and stepmother. She prided herself in being a good friend to many people.

Brenda was an active golfer and a member at the Reserve in Pawleys Island. She was an active church member at St. Paul's Methodist Church in Litchfield Beach, SC. Also, Brenda loved flowers.

Brenda is at peace with her Lord but will forever be missed by those who knew her.

A service will be held January 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM in St. Paul's Methodist Church, 180 St. Paul’s Pl, Pawleys Island, SC 29585. Contributions may be made to The Cancer Foundation or St. Judes.
