Gary Wayne Johnson

Gary Wayne Johnson, age 44 of Martinsville, passed away on July 10, 2018. Mr. Johnson was born on March 7, 1974 in Martinsville to the late James Earl Johnson and the late Sandra Minter Johnson. He had lived his entire life in Martinsville. He was of the Christian faith. He loved reading especially action comics, outdoor life that included camping and fishing. Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Sarah Roberts Johnson, one son, Christopher James Johnson, one daughter, Autumn Alise Johnson, one sister, Laurie J. Malone and husband, Roger, also a step daughter, Alannah Wolfe and a nephew, Nicholas Malone. Burial will take place at the Minter Family Cemetery on Green Hill Rd in Martinsville on September 23 at 12:30 with a memorial at the Shorter/Adkins/Lynch Family Reunion at 1:00 at the Figsboro Ruritan Building. Collins Funeral Home at Bassett, Va. is in charge of arrangements.
