

Mrs. Witt was born on August 5, 1931 in Patrick County, VA to Asa Palmer Agnew and Tiney Thomas Lampkin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Byrd Witt, her brothers and sisters; Wilber Dexter Agnew, Woodrow Wilson Agnew, Grover Martin Agnew, Aubrey Thomas Agnew, Dorcie Agnew McAlexander, David Morris Agnew, Edgar Palmer Agnew, Lucille M Agnew, Hansel Agnew, Cecil Ray Agnew and Clemon Agnew Rorrer. She was a member of Thomas Grove Primitive Baptist Church. She loved sewing, reading, landscaping and flowers. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Mrs. Witt is survived by two nieces, Karen Rorrer Eggleston and Rebecca Rorrer Lovell (Robert) along with other nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, VA with a Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 PM. with Chaplain Bonnilee Witt, Elder William (Billy) Nichols and Elder Tommy Pegram officiating. Burial will be in the Witt Family Cemetery located on the County Line Road.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Moore, Rob Lovell, Mike Keith, Mark Washburn, Matthew Washburn and Noah Moore.
The family wishes to thank everyone at Kings Grant Retirement Community for the many acts of kindness and especially the special caring and loving staff.
