

Judy Clark Stone, age 61 of Bassett, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, September 29, 1953, she was a daughter of the late James W. Clark and Esther Roadcap Clark who survives.
She worked many years for Ted’s Men’s Shop in Martinsville, was owner/operator of Clark’s Clothiers in Collinsville, was the manager of the Tultex Retail Store, and currently was the owner/operator of Winston’s Dog Spa. She was a member of Spring Street Baptist Church.
Judy loved life, people and animals and knew just how to make everyone smile.
Also surviving are her husband Clyde Burton Stone, two step-daughters Stacy Hertel (Sean) and Leigh Ann Ramsey (Scott) all of Charlotte, NC, two sisters Linda Clark Cheek of Penhook, and Sandra Woodall Jordan of Bassett, her brother Timothy J. Clark of Bassett, four step-grandchildren Haley and Anna Hertel, and Reese and Reagan Ramsey, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 2 P.M. Friday, January 30, 2015, at Collins Funeral Home in Bassett with the Rev. Sherman Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Blackberry Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 P.M. prior to the service.
