Kathryn Bouldin Craig

Born in Henry County March 22, 1916, she was a daughter of the late John W. Bouldin and Carrie Frye Bouldin. Also preceding her in death was her husband, James Leonard Craig, sisters Helen Smith, Edna Bouldin, and Ruth Bouldin, and brothers Raymond Bouldin, Dennis Bouldin, Troy Bouldin, Mack Bouldin, Curtis Bouldin, and Connie Bouldin.

Kathryn attended Ferrum College and worked for Mitchell Motors and Nelson Ford in Bassett for 48 years. She was an active member of Pocahontas Bassett Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and also was a teacher in Training Union.

Surviving is her daughter, Lynne Craig Beeler and her husband W. Christopher Beeler, of Martinsville, and one granddaughter, Sarah Schottland Beeler.

The funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, December 31, 2012, at Pocahontas Bassett Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Hewitt officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park, Martinsville.
