LaDonna Harris Perkins

Mrs. Perkins was born on June 29, 1963 to the Richard A. Harris, Sr and the Geraldine Brown Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Faye Peeler and a brother, Michael O. Harris. She was a 1984 graduate of G.W. Carver High School and studied Radiology at Patrick Henry Community College. She was employed as a Processor for Qorvo, Inc. She was a member of Christian View Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the Pastoral Choir, Ministry Usher Board and started the Expression of Love.

LaDonna is survived by her husband, Gregory C. Perkins, three sisters; Wanda Early, Stella Penn (Reed), and Nita Sharma (Buddy), three brothers; Richard A. Harris, Jr. (Sabrina), Donald Harris (Teresa) and Johnny Harris.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at the Refuge Temple Ministries, 205 Clearview Drive, Martinsville, VA with funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at a later date in the Harris Family Cemetery, New Light Church Road, Martinsville, VA.
