Meta Gertrude Roth

Meta Gertrude Jasper Roth, 96, of Collinsville VA went home to be with the Lord on April 13, 2020.

Meta was born to Henry and Bertha Jasper in Baltimore MD on December 30, 1923.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Carroll Wilmer Roth,

Sisters; Ruth Witt and Irma Wilhelmsen, Brothers; Charles and Clarence Jasper and Granddaughter Rebecca J Roth.

Meta grew up in Baltimore and attended Baltimore City College where she studied business. She later became a book keeper and administrator for Pastoral Counseling Services in Perry Hall MD. She was a resident of Kingsville MD from 1965-1992 and then moved to Collinsville VA. Meta was most famous for her many family and friend gatherings and Maryland Style Crab Cakes.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Jeff and Rosemarie Roth, daughter and son-in-law; Sue and Tim Porter, grandchildren; Andrew, Jason, Paige, Walter, great-grandchildren; Ethan, Alexis, Sophia, Elaina and Holden, sister-in-law; Florence Aleda Jordan, and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
