Born in Patrick County, June 12, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Cecil Pack and Sally Robertson Pack. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Pack and Leon Pack, a sister, Pauline Harris.
She worked for Tultex for 36 years and retired from V.F. Knitwear after 10 years of service.
Surviving is her husband, Charlie Monroe Turner of the home, a sister, Glenda Lineberry and her husband, Danny Sr. of Mt. Airy, NC, a brother, Darrell Pack and his wife, Mary of South Boston, and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 13, 2011, in the Bassett Chapel of Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. G. H. Vaughan officiating. Interment will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the funeral home.
