Mrs. Hughes was born on July 20, 1952 in Martinsville, VA to the late Robert Edward Turner and the late Nannie Mae Hatcher Turner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Royce Hughes and a son, Seth Hughes. She was retired from Bassett Furniture Company.
Mrs. Hughes is survived by two sons, Lawrence Hughes, Aaron Hughes (Jamie Lewis) and a brother, Steve Edward Turner.
Mrs. Hughes requested that no service be held.
