Sharon Louise Kelly Thompson, 68, of Collinsville, died Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born in Newburgh, New York on August 22, 1946 to Louise Davis Thompson and the late Samuel Kelly.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In addition to her mother she is survived by, her husband, William A. (Bill) Thompson, Jr., daughter Angel Wright, and one son, James Kuhn, and three grandchildren, Tona Wright, Keisha Wright, and Austin Wright.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 11 am , April 10, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Bassett, VA. Officiating will be President Gordon Hodnett.
Burial will be private and will be held in New York.
