Shirley Anne Robertson Willard

Shirley Anne Robertson Willard, 78, of Graham, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell, Burlington, North Carolina. She was born in Henry County, Virginia on July 23, 1936 to the late Posey C. Robertson and Callie Martin Robertson Spencer. Shirley was a secretary at the University of North Carolina.

Shirley was preceded in death by her mother and father, her brother, Ophus Robertson, her grandson, James Wesley Willard II and her step-father, Noel Spencer.

She is survived by her husband, Wesley Willard of Tallahassee, FL, her son, Jonathan Wesley Willard of Tampa, FL, her step-brother, John Albert Spencer and wife Louise, her step-sister, Nancy Spencer Stone all of Bassett, VA, one niece and three nephews, several cousins and a very special cat, Sweetie Poo.

The funeral will be held Friday, March 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Bible Baptist Church, 2723 Kirkwood Drive, Burlington, NC with Dr. J. Mark Aheron and Rev. David Jackson officiating. The visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM prior to the service. Interment will be held at Old Center Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery on Stones Dairy Road, Bassett, Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bible Baptist Church Building Fund or Hospice Home Care, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215
