Thomas Walter Rogers

He was born December 29, 1955 in Martinsville to Joseph Richard Rogers, Sr. and Annie Mae Mayes Rogers, both deceased.

Mr. Rogers was owner and operator of Rogers Technology Consulting and prior to that was employed by Bassett Furniture for 25 years. He was an active member and deacon at Stone Memorial Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife Kathy Hopkins Rogers of the home; two daughters, Kaitlin Marie Rogers and Madison Mae Rogers, both of the home; sister, Debbie Rogers Stanley of Greensboro, North Carolina; two brothers, Joseph R. Rogers, Jr. of Stanleytown and John “Eddie” Rogers of Bassett; several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, June 28, 2010 at Stone Memorial Christian Church and other times at the home.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Stone Memorial Christian Church with Minister Tim Wood and Minister Les Croft officiating.
