I just wanted to add that in 30 years I've never once heard Dave complain.  If he was hurt or injured, tired, over worked and broken down, no matter how hard the job and no matter how much pain I caused him and mom, he never complained about anything.

Dave and I were always working on something be it cars or trucks.  Tinkering with old antiques and restoring them.  We were very close and did everything together when we could.  Most recent was my custom SS hot rod that he never got to see finished.  He was very excited to get back and take it out and have some fun.  We did get to work on it a little together the last time I saw him for a few days.  Made mom mad as hell too!  Boys and their toys.

Dave was the best Dad anyone could hope for.  I love him very much and I will miss him.

Dave was always there for us kids and taught me all the things that I needed to get along in life when I left home.  How to drive, change the oil, a good work ethic,a positive attitude and more than I could ever list here.  

Everyone that ever knew Dave liked him. He was like a reverse Will Rogers. "I never met a man that didn't like Dave." Dave could say more with just a few words than most people could communicate talking for five minutes.  He was a good man and a smart man and showed a lot of kindness to my mother, my brothers and me when he didn't have to.  

 I never imagined when I first met Dave that all these years later he'd be my Dad. I'm better for it. We're all better for his involvement in our lives.  I am very proud of him and always have been.

There will be a hole in our family now that can never be filled but he will live on in our hearts and with our Lord in that house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Dave was one of a kind and one of my best friends in the world , i loved him as my brother , as long as I'm alive ill never forget him and on Sept 4 ill celebrate his life along with my anniversary.had a lot of fun with u super Dave and I'm glad i was apart of your life ,your friend always Keith brewton

I knew David when we were kids living in Copco California. He was my best friend. My brother, David and I spent many fun filled hours swimming in the lake, hiking in the hills and all of the other wonderful things you could do in the country. When we moved away I lost contact with David.I had always hoped to see him again but now that will not happen. My deepest sympathy to all of his family and friends.

Thanks for posting all the pictures!! So fun seeing my brother during all those years that I missed. He looks like I remember him. A good hearted, fun loving troublemaker. :)

He was my husband, best friend, soul mate, the love of my life, and the father that he didn't have to be. I will always love and miss you baby.

My sincerest sympathys to you Charlie, Richard, Michael and John. Even though my brother lived far away he was always close in my heart. I love you and miss you David, there will always be a hole in my heart.

Sorry for the loss. We all lost. A friend, a husband and a son, but much more.
