

During her childhood Eileen lived in San Antonio, Galveston, Winchester and finally settled in Pasadena, Texas. Eileen graduated from Pasadena High School. After graduation she attended Texas Lutheran College for a year before beginning employment with The Houston Chronicle as a secretary to the Vice President.
She met Fred Lee Boriack in 1945 and married in February 20, 1954 in Pasadena, Texas at Zion Lutheran Church. They were married for 57 years. Eileen’s parents preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her sisters-in-law, Margaret Cooley and Beatrice Ross.
Eileen is survived by her husband Fred Lee and two sons Richard Lee Boriack and his wife Loretta of Sunnyvale, Texas and Scott Alan Boriack and his wife Kathryn of Bastrop, Texas. Also surviving her are four grandsons Joshua, Derek, Ian and Reed Boriack.
Eileen worked at Southwestern Bell as a secretary in Dallas and Austin, and retired after 20 years. Eileen was church organist at many Lutheran churches over the years and taught piano in her home until recently. She was most recently the organist at Grace Lutheran in Smithville.
Eileen was a gentle spiritual woman who found the good in all. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. She will be remembered for her love of great music and her deep devotion to family.
Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, March 18, 2011 at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop, Texas. Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings, Texas. The burial will follow at the Winchester City Cemetery in Winchester, Texas.
