Jack Robert Keebler, loving father, beloved husband, and friend to many people, passed away on Oct. 4, 2015. He was 67 years young and died quickly, surrounded by family. Born in Detroit, MI, Jack moved around many times in his youth. He was drafted for service in the army during the Vietnam War, but he used the wisdom of his uncle to craftily reenlist so to be eligible for school to be a radar service technician. He served his term and was honorably discharged. Jack used his education to start a TV repair shop in his hometown, Howell. He met and married a woman named Marion. They had seven wonderful years together then mutually decided to divorce. By then, Jack had become an expert in the computer industry as well and received a job with RETS Electronic Schools. They asked him to move to Texas to help teach at the new school in San Antonio. There Jack met the love of his life, Christine. They had two children, Jessica and Daniel, and were married for 24 years. Jack had several jobs at many prestigious companies throughout his career as a computer technician, including Intelogic Trace, ITT, MCI/WorldCom, RETS, and IP Technologies. He retired early to enjoy life and visit family. He loved to hike, read books, collect rocks, go canoeing & tubing down a river, drink good whiskey, and have a good time with his family. He was always willing to help people and could fix anything. May you rest in peace, Jack Keebler. You will be missed but we know that your spirit will always be close to our hearts.
A memorial service will take place in Michigan at a later date.
