He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Carl and Royce.
Jake is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lillie Belle Voigt; daughter, Linda Allen; sons, Mike Voigt (Melissa), Jay Voigt (Brenda); grandsons, Brazos Allen (Allison), Blaine Allen; granddaughters, Ashlyn Voigt, Shelby Voigt; great-grandsons, Zane Allen, Bryan Allen and a host of friends and neighbors.
Jake worked 13 years for Bastrop County before retiring from TX DOT after 28 years. His favorite past times included hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Graveside Services will be at 10:00 on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Watterson Cemetery.
