She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Michael "Mike" Britton. Muriel is survived by her two daughters, Nancy Fite of Kyle, Texas; Sally Phelix and her husband Terry of Pavilion, New York; sisters, Phyllis Kellogg and her husband Carl of Tampa, Florida; Cheryl McConnell and her husband Henry of Tampa, Florida; Grandchildren, Lenae Hitt and her husband Steven, Tricia Adair, Stephen Milroy, Stephanie Fite, and 3 great-grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in loving memory of Muriel Britton.
A Celebration of Muriel's life will be held at 10am on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Bastrop, TX.
