Nancy and Charles Goerner

Charles and Nancy Goerner, of Smithville, passed away on January 11, 2013. They are survived by Nancy’s sisters, Lou Webster (Kent) of Newbury Park, California, Gini Ketcham of Olympia, Washington, and Jan Leatherman (David) of Othello, Washington; nephew Ryan Leatherman (Melissa) of Othello, Washington; nieces, Emily Webster of Chicago, Illinois, Sarah Webster of Glendale, California, Tennyson Dabney (Joe) of Everett, Washington, and Paige Tomlin (Alton) of Sugar Land, Texas; cousins, Julia Hart (Sherman) of Austin, TX, Robert A. Young (Nell) of Navasota, Texas, and Jack Young (Anne) of Hobbs, New Mexico; and Terry and Al Tomlin, numerous second cousins and quilting friends. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the charity of your choice in honor of Charles and Nancy Goerner. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop, TX.
