

He served his country in the Airforce during the Korean War. Roland was a graduate of the University of Texas and a member of the Texas Bar Association. He was a real estate attorney in the title insurance industry for many years.
Roland married the love of his life, Sharon Ward Kelley in Houston, Texas in 1971.
A devout Catholic, Roland worshiped at Saint Anne & Saint Michael Catholic Churches in Houston and Ascension Catholic Church in Bastrop.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sharon, son Roland North Flick III, daughter-in-law Sandra Kelley and David and Mary Catherine Ward. Roland also leaves behind granddaughters Lauren Kocian and Ashley Kelley and five great-grandsons Wyatt Kocian, Login Kocian, Miles Kocian, Matthew Kelley and Jeremyah Kelley and numerous nephews and nieces.
A Memorial Celebration of Life was conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning on Sunday the 16th of October in the Jasek Chapel at Geo. H. Lewis and Sons 1010 Bering Drive in Houston. At four o'clock that afternoon, interment took place in Watterson Cemetery, Watterson Community, TX.
