David, I was sad to read in the Midland paper that your Dad was gone.  When I emailed Dick, he gave me the website. I didn't know your folks very well but can see by the wonderful pictures that he was greatly loved by his family.  Know that I am thinking of you and your family.

We could not have had a better Christian example, as our loving Dad.  He was my heart.  We will miss him terribly, but celebrate that he is at peace and once again with his beloved Hazel.

I will miss him greatly. Growing up, he and Mrs. Horn were like a second set of parents to me, as their son, David, is my best friend. He was always quiet and unassuming, but a strong Christian father.

David,
You are a dear and sweet friend and Brother-in-Christ who I so much appreciate. My heart goes out to you and all in the family. Having seen my Dad at 99 recently pass away, I know what you are going through. May the Lord continue to give you of His peace and comfort. Cheryl joins with me in sending you and Linda, your families, our personal regards and love.

Our memories of Victor (Uncle Vic) as a stalwart and kind man will never fade. He is an example to all of us for aging with dignity, grace and humor.

I did not have the privilege of knowing Vic personally, but after watching the video, I can tell what a wonderful man he was and how much he loved his family.  I know he will be missed, but God helps us to remember all the great memories.

Dear David and Linda,
Thank you for letting us know. The obituary and photos testify to a life well lived. Your father and mother have left a great legacy in their children and grandchildren who love the Lord and follow him.

The video brought back so many wonderful memories of Vic's life and accomplishments.  The most special memory I have is the way Vic lived in such an upright, Christian manner, blameless and pure.  I know he was able to leave this life with few, if any, regrets---something that few of us will be able to do.  He taught by example and his example was one of kindness and love, tempered by his strength of faith and conviction.  We will all miss him dearly, but cling to the assurance of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,  that we will be reunited one day.  I know Vic will especially be waiting with arms wide open and a smile on his face for his special Guardian Angels these past two years, his daughter, Ronda, and son-in-law, Kim Espy.  They deserve more than just a sincere "Thank-You" from all of us.  God has a special place in Heaven waiting for those two!
