So very  sorry for the loss to the entire family of  Willie.   I went to school with him from grammar thru high school.   He was a great guy & we'll liked by everyone.  A great singer & so talented.  May he  RIP!

My sweet uncle Willy. i was so saddened to hear you passed away. I will surely miss you. I do remember going to Saxony and  listen to you and your band. what wonderful times they were. You were so talented.  Also, all the times I got to talk to you on Skipe. I could even see you. God bless you Uncle Willy, and I know that my daddy will take very good care of you. My Love and sincere sympathy go to your family. I will always remember you fondly and I will keep all the memories of you close to my heart.

So sorry to hear of Will's passing. I shall always have fond memories of our days at VTANG Operations,or down at the Cave or Saxony, wherever he was playing! He was a very talented musician and great guy! He will be missed by many. God Bless!

Willie..from our childhood years at St Francis Xavier grade school in Winooski, and catching up within the last several years in Texas, you were always such a kind & easy going guy, always ready with a laugh and a joke to tell, and a great musician and singer...may you rest in heavenly peace with your guardian angel watching over you...will miss you greatly...

I am sad to hear of Willies passing.  Please accept my heartfelt condolences and prayers.  I remember him well from our days at the VTANG.  A talented musician and allround nice guy.  Back when we could get away with it we drag raced my 57 Chev and his Bonneville on the Flight line.  Hope you're playing Honky Tonk in Heaven Willie.

I am so sorry to hear of your passing. I'm sure you are having a good time in heaven with Uncle Bernie, keeping the heavens alive with your favorite country music. I remember when you use to visit when I was a young kid. You would bring your guitar and play your favorite country music that would put smiles on everyone's face including mine own, which made those days more enjoyable. 
You will be greatly missed. You are in my prayers as I listened to those favorite tunes that I used to play.

Willie was a really good guy. From kinder-garden, thru grade 8 and all through high school at Winooski were the years that I knew and spent time with Willie. I know that he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Will and family, I used to go to the Sax from St. Albans Vt. and watch Will play.
What a pleasure that was as I was still at a young age (17) and still learning to play the guitar. He was one of my "idols". This is how I used to learn to play by watching him play. I never met him personally but but became his one line friend in the Saxony facebook page. He sent me five CD's of the Tradewinds and the Triads this past year. What a legacy he left for everyone that saw and heard him play. They don't make em' like that anymore. Thank you Will..God bless................Check one two.....

Met Willie years ago at the Saxony,  He and my 1st husband were friends.  Have wonderful memories of Will and that big old Hammond, Glad to have known him and call him my friend.  I am so saddened by his loss, and send my deepest condolences, love and prayers to his family.  He will be missed. but remembered by oh so many.

My old friend, glad we talked a couple weeks ago. I never dreamed it would be our last. A great guy, one of the most honest men I've ever known. So sorry, so very sorry...
