
Albert Neil Dornier was born Dec. 31, 1932, and passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, in Fresno, Calif., at Kaiser Hospital, with his family by his side. He was 75. A native of Baton Rouge, Neil was the son of the late Joseph Boniface and Gertrude Catherine Ledet Dornier. He graduated from Baton Rouge High School in 1951 and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. As an engineer for more than 40 years with Standard Oil/Exxon USA, he specialized in instrumentation and worked at the Baton Rouge and Benicia, Calif., refineries. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Barthelet "Sonny" Dornier III. He is survived by his daughters, Debra Ann Jenks and her husband, Stan, and Kaven Ann Aragon and her husband, John; grandchildren, Sarah Saga, Julie Marie and her husband, George Jamison, Amanda Aragon, John Christopher Albert Aragon, Katharine "Katie" Arrizon and Anna Arrizon, all of Fresno; and great-grandchildren, Ibrahim Jad, Hanin Jad and Jacob Jamison; a sister, Yvette Dornier Clothier, of Baton Rouge; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and loving friends. He will be deeply missed. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Friday, Feb. 15, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Visiting continues at St. Aloysius Catholic Church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
