Alberta Cain "Berta" Johns

"A native of Sulphur and a resident of Baton Rouge, Alberta "Berta" Cain Johns passed away at her home on Thursday morning, July 13, 2017, at the age of 85. She is survived by her two daughters: Lisa Johns Card and her husband David, and Sheila Johns Charbonnet and her husband Craig; and by her son, Douglas Johns. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren: Brennan Cummings, Adam Card, Jonathan Charbonnet, Daniel Charbonnet, Taylor Charbonnet, Aaron Charbonnet, Kyle Johns, Joshua Johns, Levi G. Johns, and Hunter Johns; her brother, Hurshel Cain; and 11 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Levi Chuck Johns; and her great-granddaughter, Piper Grace Charbonnet. Visitation will be at Zoar Baptist Church, 11848 Hooper Rd, on Monday morning, July 17, 2017, from 9:30am until funeral service at 11am, conducted by Rev. Dr. Kevin Hand. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Jonathan Charbonnet, Adam Card, Daniel Charbonnet, Kyle Johns, Taylor Charbonnet, Joshua Johns, Aaron Charbonnet, Levi Johns, and Hunter Johns.
