Alena Dauzat Landry a resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the age of 82. A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Alena enjoyed dancing, needlepoint and quilting. She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church and faithful to her daily devotion of the rosary. She is survived by her husband of 55 years Thomas J. Landry; children Ronnie J. Landry and wife Peggy, and Karen L. Rivet and husband Leslie; grandchildren: Ashley M. Rivet, Nathan B. Landry, and Amber M. Rivet; and sister Ella Louise Rivet. She is preceded in death by her parents Odell and Louise Dauzat. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 from 5pm until 9pm with a rosary to be said at 7pm. Visitation will continue at St. Gerard Catholic Church on Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 9am until a Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10am. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
