Ann Bickett David

Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a homemaker, a native of Knottsville, Kentucky and a resident of Baton Rouge. Ann died at 5:15am Friday, January 10, 2014 at her home. She was 89. Ann was a former member of St. Gerard Catholic Church for 40 years, and a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church for the past 20 years. Ann was a member of Third Order of Mary, the Legion of Mary, Catholic Daughters of America, Altar Rosary Society of St. Gerard Catholic Church, The Adoration Chapel of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.  Visitation will be held Monday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church from 9:00am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am, conducted by the Rev.Thomas Duhe'. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by her children: Diane Norris&partner James Leonard, Alvin David Jr.&wife Frances, Judy Morel, Jerry David&wife Robbie, Michael David, Joey David&wife Melanie; sister: Marie Therese Lovett&husband Gordon; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces&nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years: Alvin J. David, Sr.; and eleven siblings; and her son-in-law: Brent Morel. The pallbearers will be Jeffrey Norris, Glenn David, Chris Morel, Ben Morel, Corey David and Brett David; honorary pallbearer is David Norris. A special thanks by the family to St. Joseph Hospice.
