
Anna was a librarian cataloger with the Livingston Parish Library. She was a native and resident of Baton Rouge. Anna died at 8:48pm Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center Emergency Room. She was 70. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, Saturday from 12:00pm until the Memorial Service at 1:30pm in the funeral home chapel. Anna is survived by her husband: Erik Lambert; her brother: Sam H. Sharp, Jr.&wife Carol of Albuquerque, New Mexico; her nephews: Sam Sharp III&wife Ruth and daughter, Rebecca of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Robert Sharp of Albuquerque, NM, Chris Sharp&his children, Soren and Lillian; her lifelong friend: Willie Mae Griffin, who worked for the family for over 50 years. Anna was preceded in death by her father: Sam H. Sharp; and her mother: Madelaine Sharp. Anna graduated from Baton Rouge High School in 1961. She received degrees from Louisiana State University in Education and Library Science. She taught for the East Baton Rouge Parish and LSU, and retired from the Louisiana State Library and the East Baton Rouge Library. She was a co-author of published Cataloging Workbooks, and conducted cataloging workshops locally, nationally and internationally, including one in Kazakhstan for the U. S. State Department. She was a world traveler, taking trips to China, Russia, Mongolia, Africa and many more.
