A longtime resident of Baton Rouge, she died Friday, Jan. 18, 2008. She was 67 and a native of Pensacola, Fla. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Saturday, Jan. 26, from noon until religious service at 2 p.m., conducted by Elder Ezra Shannon. Interment in Southern Memorial Gardens. She is survived by a daughter, Sally Williams; three sons, Joe W. Nichols Jr., John L. Nichols and Joe T. Nichols; two sisters, Bama Barnes and Ethel Gray; brother, Walter Beasley; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husbands, Joe W. Nichols Sr. and Edward Dent; and parents.
