

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to her friends, she went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday October 30, 2012. She was a resident of Baton Rouge, and a native of Rougon, LA. Annette, 73, was a graduate of Rougon High School, with additional training in Business Administration. She retired from Falco Lime in Port Allen, LA in 2005. Annette is survived by her husband of 53 years, John Rex McKinley, whom she married in December 5, 1959; daughter, Terri Lynn David and husband Ricky, of New Roads, LA; two sons, Richard Dwayne McKinley and wife Tracy, of Waxhaw, NC, and John Kevin McKinley and wife Pam, of Demopolis, AL; five grandchildren, Chad Allen and Lynsey McKinley, Jessica Rose Murnane, Hilary Elaine McKinley and Zachary Logan McKinley; and step-grandson, Cody Hagler and wife Amy. Preceded in death by her father Zack Guidroz, and mother Rose Robillard Guidroz. Visitation will be at First Baptist Church, 308 River Road, Denham Springs, on Thursday November 1, 2012 from 5pm to 8pm. Visiting continues at the church on Friday, November 2, 2012 from 9am till service time at 10am. Interment will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Annette was an active and devoted member of First Baptist Church of Denham Springs and a member of the Lil Sunday School Class. She was a 50-year member of Baton Rouge Chapter #163, order of the Eastern Star-PM. She was listed in 1965 as an Outstanding Young Woman of America. Pallbearers will be Richard, Kevin, Chad, and Zack McKinley; Jim Walzak and Rodney Todd. Honorary pallbearers Gerald, Joe I., and Billy McKinley.
