Antoinette "Toni"Roussel

Antoinette "Toni" Roussel died at her residence in Baton Rouge on May 25, 2012, on her 54th wedding anniversary. She was 88 years of age. Toni was a native of Gramercy and a graduate from Lutcher High School, where she was a majorette and a member of the girls basketball team. She was an active member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Altar Society. In addition, she volunteered at her children's schools. Toni is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dr. Joseph "Buddy" Roussel; her son, Fabian Roussel&his wife Monique; her daughter, Alana R. Vaughn&husband Eddie; her grandsons, Robert Vaughn and Ryan Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph&Mary Clark Puccio. Visitation will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church Tuesday, from 10:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Thomas Duhe'. A graveside service at 2:30 p.m. will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church Mausoleum in Paulina. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.
